About this document
This document describes all the elements that conform TechUp's initiative identity (aka Branding Guidelines) and their usage rules on any generated content, by either TIOF Members, Contributors or any other third parties.
It is a reference document to which all TechUp productions, either for internal or external use, must refer and adhere.
You should familiarize yourself with this it and comply with it at all times. Any questions you may have with regard to its contents or what you have to do to comply with it should be referred to the initiative's Team Comms Manager.

Mission & Vision
While the TechUp initiative is designed in order to support TIOF's mission and to achieve its vision, it nonetheless also formulates its own Mission & Vision.
Mission: To engage technologist to embrace their role as Next Generation of Rights Defenders.
Vision: A world where technologists ensure that digital citizens are protected, transparently, at all times.

Techup adheres to the same values as The IO Foundation to delivers its mission.

Descriptions
The following are the official definitions to be used when describing or referencing TechUp. A number of variations are provided in an attempt to fit different character limitations.

Full version
TechUp is a collaborative space bringing together the tech community to become the agents of change that digital societies need right now.
By uniting capacity building and social participation, TechUp supports technologists in their role as NextGen Rights Defenders to architect and build better and safer digital societies.
Programmers are the Next Generation of Rights defenders.
Mini version
TechUp is a collaborative space uniting capacity building and social participation to build better and safer digital societies by supporting technologists in their role as NextGen Rights Defenders.
Programmers are the Next Generation of Rights defenders.
Micro version
TechUp is a collaborative space uniting capacity building and social participation to build better and safer digital societies by supporting technologists in their role as NextGen Rights Defenders.
